Yes. JJR Care operates 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays. Our 24-hour on-call system means you can always reach a member of our team.

Sit-in care involves a carer staying with an individual for a set period to provide companionship, supervision, and reassurance. It is suitable for people who need company, someone to talk to, or a reassuring presence during the day or night.

Night cover provides professional support through the night. We offer two types: waking night cover where a carer remains awake and available throughout the night, and sleep-in support where a carer sleeps at the property but can be woken if assistance is needed.

Yes. JJR Care provides specialist care for children with disabilities, including autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex needs. Our trained carers work closely with families, schools, and healthcare professionals.

Post-hospital care is specifically designed for individuals returning home after a hospital stay. It focuses on recovery, wound care, medication management, and rehabilitation. Respite care is short-term care that gives family carers a break from their caring responsibilities.

Yes. We have full-time, part-time, and temporary positions available. Many of our roles allow you to choose the hours that work for you.

You are welcome to apply if you have the legal right to work in the UK. All applicants must demonstrate valid right-to-work documentation during our recruitment process.

This depends on the role and how quickly all compliance checks are completed. Once all documentation, DBS, and references are cleared, we aim to place candidates as quickly as possible.

Funding & Practical Matters

Care can be funded privately, through local authority social care funding, NHS continuing healthcare, or a combination. We recommend speaking with your local council or a financial advisor about funding options.

We understand that care needs can change quickly. We do our best to arrange care at short notice, particularly for urgent situations. For stopping care, we ask for reasonable notice to allow for a proper handover.

We maintain a pool of experienced, vetted cover staff to ensure continuity of care when your usual carer is on leave or unavailable due to illness.

We take all feedback seriously. If you have a concern, contact us directly by phone or email and we will address it promptly. For formal complaints, our procedure follows CQC guidelines.
